School Psychologist, supervisor and child and adult psychotherapist. I have over 20 years of experience doing psychotherapy, including play therapy and other thechniques, with children and adolescents with emotional, social, behavioral, learning, anxiety and other developmental difficulties and challenges. I strongly believe in collaborative work with parents, while working individually with the child or adolescent (when appropriate, depending of adolescents age). When suitable I do dyadic therapy (child-parent psychotherapy). I also do parent counseling, and within the chosen therapeutic process, or plan, I provides help with the child’s natural environment (for example working with the school team) when relevant and necessary. I also work with children and adolescents who have been sexually abused. I work in private practice and within the public sector. In the public sector – amongst other positions, I am the director of a therapeutic centre for children and adolescents who have been sexually abused. I train, lecture and develop training programmes for psychologists interested in specialized training for therapy with children and adolescents who have been sexually abused and serve as a consultant for psychologists in this field.
